Crop, resize, rotate, or flip an image right in your browser, for free. Drag out a crop area (freeform or a preset ratio), type exact dimensions, or spin and mirror the image. Nothing ever leaves your device.
Every edit here goes through undo/redo history, so you can try a crop or rotation and step back if it's not what you wanted, rather than starting over from the original file. Resizing locks the aspect ratio by default, so typing a new width automatically works out the matching height -- uncheck that box if you specifically want to stretch or squash the image instead.
Frequently asked questions
Will resizing an image make it blurry?
Shrinking an image down rarely causes visible quality loss. Enlarging it past its original pixel dimensions can, though, since the tool has to invent new pixel detail that wasn't in the source file. For the sharpest result, avoid resizing an image larger than its original size.
Can I crop to an exact pixel size instead of dragging?
Yes -- type the width and height you want into the crop size fields and click "Set crop size." It centers a selection of that exact size on the image (or keeps your current position if one's already selected), which you can then nudge with the arrow keys before applying it.
Why does rotating change the image's dimensions, but flipping doesn't?
Rotating 90 degrees swaps which side is longer, so a wide image becomes tall and vice versa -- the width and height values trade places. Flipping just mirrors the image horizontally or vertically in place, so the dimensions stay exactly the same.
Can I undo a crop or rotation?
Yes -- every crop, resize, rotation, and flip is a separate undo-able step. Use the undo/redo buttons to step back and forth, or "Reset image" to jump straight back to the original file.
