This draws a visible mark directly onto the image's own pixels -- it's meant to deter someone from passing your photo off as their own, the same way a photographer's or stock-photo watermark does, not to hide an invisible tracking signal. A repeating pattern is harder to crop out cleanly than a single corner stamp, which is why it exists as an option here.

What's the difference between "single position" and "repeating pattern"?
Single position places one watermark at a corner or edge you choose from the 9-point grid. Repeating pattern tiles the same text or logo diagonally across the entire image at an adjustable angle and spacing -- harder for someone to crop out than a single stamp in one corner.
Can I watermark several images at once?
Yes -- add multiple images to the list, configure your watermark once, then click "Apply to all images" to stamp every loaded image the same way in one click. Each image still keeps its own separate undo history if you want to adjust just one afterward.
Does this permanently remove the original, unwatermarked image?
No -- undo, or "Reset image," restores the original file for as long as you keep the tab open. Once you download the watermarked version, though, that's the file you're left with; the tool doesn't keep a copy anywhere after you close the page.
Can someone remove this watermark from my image?
A visible watermark like this is a deterrent, not an unbreakable seal -- someone determined enough with photo-editing skills could potentially remove or crop around it, especially a small single-corner mark. A larger, repeating pattern across the whole image is significantly harder to remove cleanly.
