Video Adjust changes a video's brightness, contrast, and saturation, or applies a grayscale, sepia, or invert filter, right in your browser. Drag a slider or click a filter to preview the change on the current frame, scrub through the clip to check other moments, and download the result when you're happy with it. Since it re-renders the clip frame by frame, exporting takes about as long as the clip itself. Nothing ever leaves your device.
Each slider setting and any selected filter apply the same way to every frame of the video, not just whatever moment happens to be showing in the preview -- the preview updates live during playback too, so you can scrub or press play to check how the adjustment looks throughout the clip before exporting. A filter and the sliders can be used together: pick Grayscale, Sepia, or Invert, then still fine-tune brightness, contrast, or saturation on top of it.
Frequently asked questions
Does the adjustment apply to the whole video or just the frame I'm viewing?
The whole video -- each slider setting applies uniformly to every frame on export, not just whatever moment is currently showing in the preview. The preview just gives you a live look at how the current settings affect the frame you're on.
Can I see the adjustment while the video is playing, not just paused?
Yes -- the preview updates continuously during real playback, not only when you scrub to a paused frame, so you can watch the adjusted look play through the whole clip before exporting.
Why does exporting take as long as the clip itself?
This tool re-renders the video frame by frame in real time rather than decoding and re-encoding it faster than playback speed, so a 1-minute clip takes about a minute to export. That's the tradeoff for doing this entirely in the browser with no heavier video-processing library involved.
Does the adjusted video keep its original audio?
Yes -- the original audio track passes straight through to the exported file, completely unaffected by the brightness, contrast, or saturation changes.
Can I use a filter and the sliders together?
Yes -- select Grayscale, Sepia, or Invert and adjust the brightness/contrast/saturation sliders at the same time. Both apply together to the live preview and the exported file, and both reset together when you click Reset.
