Video Merge combines two or more video clips into one, playing one after another in whatever order you set. Drag files in, reorder them with the up and down arrows, and download the combined result. The first clip's dimensions set the output size; other clips are scaled to match. Since it re-renders every clip frame by frame, exporting takes about as long as the combined clips do. Nothing ever leaves your device.
Each clip's own audio is decoded up front and scheduled to play at its correct position in the merged timeline, so the combined download keeps every clip's original sound. If you choose MP4 and this particular browser can't produce a valid MP4 for this specific combination of tracks, the tool automatically re-renders as WebM instead and lets you know it happened.

Why does the merged video use the first clip's dimensions?
The first clip you add sets the output size, and every other clip is scaled to match it when merged. If your clips have different resolutions or aspect ratios, add the one whose size you want the final video to use first.
I chose MP4, but got a WebM file instead. Why?
Some browsers can't produce a valid MP4 for this specific combination of a canvas-rendered video track and a synthesized audio track. When that happens, this tool automatically detects it and re-renders as WebM instead, and lets you know in the status message. WebM plays normally in all modern browsers and media players.

Why does exporting take so long?
This tool plays and re-renders every clip in real time rather than decoding and re-encoding them faster than playback speed, so merging clips that together run 3 minutes takes about 3 minutes to export. That's the tradeoff for doing this entirely in the browser with no heavier video-processing library involved.
